Jon Elliff
Jon is an elder and has been our teaching pastor since 2010. He graduated from Oklahoma Baptist University in 1997 and then Southern Seminary in 2002 and 2007. His passion is teaching expositionally, discipling men, and leading the church in terms of vision and organization. Jon and his wife, Becky, have five daughters.

Spencer Revely
Spencer came to MBC in 2023 as our Family Minister. He actually worked with MBC whilst in college as an intern, and then later as a pastoral resident after he graduated. He is an alumni of The Master's University (2017) and The Master's Seminary (2023) and worked for several years at Grace Community Church. Spencer is the blessed husband of Sara and father of Liam and Colette.

Kevin Flierl
Kevin has been our missionary (Switzerland) for the last couple of years. After some time working as an executive chef, he went to seminary (Moody) and served as an associate pastor for a number of years. Eight years ago, Kevin felt a deep desire to evangelize in Switzerland, and moved there, ministering with Greater Europe Mission. We have the joy of "borrowing" Kevin from GEM for some time to work here at MBC.

Keoki Liftee-Kau
Keoki and his wife, Tiffany, came to MBC in 2020 and jumped in immediately getting involved in many aspects of the church. After 22 years as a flight attendant for Hawaiian Airlines, Keoki agreed to become our business administrator. Keoki is also a fireman for the Honolulu Fire Department. He and Tiffany are the loving parents of two sons.

Becky Elliff
After a 23-year hiatus from being a secretary, the burgeoning need at MBC convinced Becky to join in as the MBC part-time church secretary. Becky also leads our very vibrant Women's ministry, Women of the Word. According to Jon (Becky's husband), Becky is an "Expert wife and mother; the quintessential woman!"

Michael Weichhaus
By trade, Michael is a molecular biologist and is a professor at Chaminade University. Michael joined the staff in 2021 to oversee the A/V. He and his wife, Clair, immigrated from Germany and Scotland, respectively, and are the proud parents of four children.

Tanner Johnson
Tanner has been a part of MBC since he was a child - many in his family have been a part of MBC since the 1970s. Tanner serves MBC as our janitor, tirelessly preparing our facility for its use. Tanner is also a graduate student at the University of Hawaii working on a Master's Degree in math.

Gary and Karen Hockett
Gary and Karen Hockett have been with MBC for more than 30 years in one capacity or another. Karen served for 30 years as a secretary, Gary as a facilities and A/V leader. Now they both serves as our church hosts, facilities management, and many other odd jobs. They have two children and four grandchildren.
